He was only two years younger than roy, what about dawson picking on tarver. Yes he was a shadow of his former self but it was roy jones who asked Calzaghe. Why do we brits get accused of hiding I don't see any of you coming over here to challenge our champions. I'm not a big JC fan but when the Next best thing to slice bread came over lacy he got a pasting of a life time.

Dawson didn't hide in Wales his WHOLE career than come out to fight ATGs when they were old as ****, he's fighting the guys that are available for him to fight, his resume is as good as Slappy's. Calslappy could have unified at 168 in the late 90s and fought RJJ and Bhops when they were at thier peaks but he decided to cherry pick because thats what he does best.:smoke

Um no Calslappy is 36, roy will be 40 in 8 weeks, anyway Slappy has admited RJJ is shot.
As far as Dawson goes, he was fighting a belt holder so he was unifying plus he is fighting who is available it's not like he could've fought him earlier like Slappy.
As for Brits hideing, Warren is a POS and needs to go, Hatton used to hide but I give him props for fighting an ATG at his peak even though he got KO'd. And I'm on the Haye bandwagon he has shown balls by by becoming undisputed at CW, then Challenging Wlad.
