Yes (except for power) I agree, but it is still a huge advantage having Dawson's attributes.

Calzaghe would have to take the fight seriously. I think Joe would win like he always does. I wonder if the next source of energy on earth is something that scientists can dig out of Joe's motor.:think

He is. He is just not as physically tall, big, long as Dawson. Neither is Hopkins or Roy.

Therefore Dawson is a new proposition for Joe.

Dawson is too slick for robotic Kessler.

Dawson isn't hard to hit and has no chin. Also he has no real power, while Kessler is perhaps the strongest puncher @168.

I thought Dawson had an even longer reach than 77.

Calzaghes is listed as 73, Hopkins 75? From the weight in I thought Calzaghe had longer reach

    Wake up dude.

The thread is about Dawson as opponent for Calzaghe, not for Kessler. :patsch

Dawson is hugely underrated - note Mogens Palle said Kessler shouldn't fight him before he got more exposure. But, yeah he really needs a good fight - but who? No matter who he beats (save JC) people will say he beat an old man...
