Yeah it must have been around Blocks 220ish, I saw a bit of pushing and pointing going on and then a flurry of punches got thrown and then security waded in.

Imagine travelling half-way round the world and getting chipped out before the fight even starts.
    :patsch

The reactions near the end were priceless. Where were you sitting Reilly ... I was in 225.

    Hi guys

first post.... trust me everybody in the British isles knows of and excepts wales sovereignty!

I'm English and i'm sure you can appreciate that America doesn't ( not to discount native American history) have as rich or recorded history as European nations and England and Wales have fought many long and bloody wars against each other which are very well documented in our history!

we all know wales is a seperate country!

I disagree. Fans don't need to research the other fighter before going to these fights. They hear the guy talk and they assume he's English. It's a natural reaction. Despite what many Brits think, Americans aren't very familiar with Calzaghe. Boxing isn't a big sport here. Fans here aren't that familiar with American fighters let alone Welsh fighters who have only fought here twice.

These links prove very little. There a a million Welshman in this country. However, there is basically no coverage of Wales on our networks. The country is nowhere near The U.S and is not very important on a global scale. Relatively speaking, nothing important happens in Wales.

I don't know what kind of flag expect you are, but there are about 20 or so national flags that I could identify to look at, the rest I wouldnt know. Perhaps I would be able to guess the Welsh flag if I saw it in a context such as you were in, becase think it is some celtic kind of thing, but never the less I think youre being a bit anally retentive.

Well spotted but the poster saying that wales is a principality of England sounds like he was just trying to stir it up a little as Wales was a Country conquered by England in the Middle ages and this is still a sore point for a lot welsh people want independence from England.

its kinda like a Russian joking about Chechnya (spelling) being part of Russia.

    if that makes sense?

on the flip side i'm also a big MMA fan and you get the USA chant all the time, i personally don't mind it as iots just a way of fans getting behing your man.

you've gotta remeber that football ( soccer) is the main sport in europe so we're brought up chanting witty support where in the US its no so prevalant so USA USA is about as good as it gets
