As I told you months ago, he will probably fight the winner of Pac-DLH.

he will come back if the pacmonster beats goldie in December. He will fight the pacman at 147 next year.

i really wish that floyd wasn't so obsessed with getting the wbc titles in the different weight classes...I liked him a lot more when he used to beat people up...not run the entire fight.

He should have just stayed around 135 and 140...just cleaned out those two divisions.

I voted NEVER but i hope i'm wrong. Whether you admit it or not, he's good for boxing. When you have a guy who is clearly the #1 in the world and has that type of personality, people are drawn to him.

The more time goes by, the less chance I think he will return. I think it's clear he's not coming back unless it's a huge payday fight. I think he's waiting to see what happens in the Pacquiao-De La Hoya fight before he makes any big time decisions.

I thoroughly dislike his whole fabricated resume. Even this 'come back' bull****.

"dude, you must 'retire' and thendo a 'come back'. Many of the greats have done that, so it doesnt matter if you dont have a reason or what not. Let just follow the plan. The fans are stupid and surely some of them will see it as an added bonus that "he came back from retirement and beat bla bla bla..". Hehehe.. those fans are so dumb."

Distasteful this whle sharade. When Ali stopped because of the army etc. things were real, but Mayweather is the most fabricated fighter ever. They started out with a good raw material and have just absolutely fabricated an entire story around him. Mkes a real boxing fan wanna %$&#@ puke.

That's about right. One thing is virtually for CERTAIN - he WILL be back.

Agreed, he'll DEFINITELY be back, even if it's just for one or two big money bouts.

I'm surprised so many people think he will never return--of course he will.
