Antonio Tarver was the black guy chum!

 

How did Pavlik get exposed as no treat to Joe??? Does Calzaghe fight like Hopkins??? No. STyles make fights and juts cause Hopkins beat Pavlik doesn't mean that Calzaghe can.

And why is it just america fighters??? Kessler wasn't hyped to beat Calzaghe???

The fact is Calzaghe only beat Lacy.

 

The Dawson hype on here only started after the Tarver fight. Tarver has been on a downhill slide for a couple of years now. He has serious stamina issues that suggest he is shot.

Agreed. In fact Tarver is actually beating on death's door - with that arm weary display at the end of the Dawson fight I feared he was going to collapse there & then. Allowing for Tarver's demise, Dawson's resume is far from impressive

Hopkins schooled Pavlik, exposed him as a one dimensional fighter who is out of his depth at Light Heavyweight. After that there was absolutely no reason for Calzaghe to fight Pavlik. The point is that the hype of Pavlik didn't live up to the reality, the same may or may not be said of Dawson.

 

He didn't. Neither did Calzaghe.
