An Open Letter to Joe Calzaghe

You don't seem aware that they are. "First it was Lacy now it's Dawson". There is no connection. Lacy was a unification fight at supermiddle. Dawson is the next logical fight as he is the main challenger to Calzaghe's claim to be the no.1 lhw, since Calzaghe got the decision over Hopkins. Also, Dawson's resume so far proves he is the real deal compared to Lacy anyway.

 

You should have just said that in the first place. I see Kessler is about the same level as Dawson. Good fighters who could become greats.

Kessler would punish Dawson. Dawson is overrated IMO

 

If he is striving for greatness and legacy, it would be a very wise choice for Calzaghe to make. His resume as it is will not stand the test of time very well at all.

:rofl I love it. From 1998 to 2005 he fought bums and then for a year he fight 2 undefeated champs and then an old champ and now he's back to fighting bums and shot fighters and you guys are happy about it.:rofl

 

I was talking about people pushing names forward to beat Calzaghe, so in that respect Lacy, Pavlik and Dawson have the same function. Each name has replaced the other are different points in time.
