This forum was split on Jones Calzaghe leading up to the fight, says it all really, people either want Calzaghe to lose that badly or there plain stupid. Lacy was a dangerous KO artist at the time, if you can't even admit that your an idiot.

 

Yeah, I've heard that argument and its fair enough but rightly or wrongly his claims seem to be pretty much ignored.

 

This thread just about epitomizes what is wrong with this board and Joe Calzaghe at the moment. It's the usual suspects too.

It seems to have got even more out of control since Jones. Some idiots are trying to blow the win out of proportion, and the haters are trying to compensate and are equally stupid.

Calzaghe hasn't got any fights, no plans, he is semi-retired like Mayweather. Let's find something else.

But it shouldn't be omitted. It is a name on the resume, and it was an evaluation of that resume. It can't be left out. And it's not like that opponent was an anomaly that let down the rest of the resume and stuck out like a sore thumb, is it?
