Abraham-Marquez...I think Abe will clean out middle, he will beat Sturm and though Pavlik will be a good, hard fight. Id pick him to stop Pav late.

Wilfredo Gomez-Valdez..for the first time. Gomez was a ****ing monster and even more skilled then I remembered.

Burley-Smith. Charley was so quick, he could really get maximum power across and into those right hand leads. Fully commited. I wish I knew more about Billy Smith, I wish there was more footage - because I'd love to know if he happened to fight like that or if he's ended up fighting in this style as a reaction - almost hypnotised, because they'd already done ten rounds, of course.

Jones-Calzaghe again. I was not impressed by Joe's showboating.

Actually i watched an old 80s heavyweight fight between Pinklon Thomas and Mike Weaver , Pinklon was very quick and the class really told in the end when Thomas started to try to time Weaver with a jab, right hand 1-2 fast combo... it failed twice but third time, the right hand completely stiffened Mike up and he was out unable to get to his feet, almost like his lower half was absolutely paralysed............

A bit sick today so had a bit of a marathon.
Mostly trying to watch a few shorter fights to get more in.

Got home from work this morning and watched Duran-Cueves over breakfast.

Watched De la Hoya-Paez and Tszyu-The Snake this morning aswell, havent seen them in ages.
Also watched Hagler-Hamsho II and some Bob Foster highlights.

About to watch Tyson-Thomas and I think that will do me for today. :D

Miguel Canto-Betulio Gonzalez III...good performance by Canto who dominated the fight with his left hand,Gonzalez who looked much bigger than Canto chase him the all fight but didnt threw enough punches.
this shouldve been a unanimous decision win for Canto but it took place in Venezuela (Betulios country) and he only got a split decision.

i wonder if Canto was robbed in another one of his fights with Gonzalez that took place in Venezuela too and he lost by split decision.
