I knew The Ring would not move Joe up the p4p rankings for beating a shot fighter.

Let's be honest, did he deserve to move up after beating a shot fighter?

Even if this was after the Hopkins fight its hard to move Joe ahead of Manny considering where he started and the last bunch of opponents ..

Check out the underlined lol. This is his logic lol. Let me say this first. The fans here didn't expect Cal to move up by beating Jones. This is just more of your pompous dialogue to discredit Cal. You Pac fans are still living off of the big 3's names lol... If Pac loses, he deserves to drop from Dlh's Ring mag rankings. He is not fighting a prime Dlh. I've given up on the Ring rankings a while ago, and if they keep Pac pfp at #1 even if he loses, that will be a travesty to the boxers in the top 10 today. You Jones analogy is so far off course it doesn't deserve a response lol. You are so phony thinking that Pac has no chance against Dlh lol..."after he loses to Oscar"...comical

IMHO whether you had JC at number 2 or number 3 he had to stay where he was after the Jones fight.

Man, you must be out of your mind. Casamayor beat Katsidis...a guy who gets sliced up in every fight who by ko, and Jones beat fat Tito. Casamayor was old and got knocked out by J.M.M, and Jones lastsd 12 against Cal, and Casa had more left than Jones? lol.

This is about as stupid a thought that I've read on here:nut . The logic is so flawed:lol: . Pac is going from 135 to 147 first off. He is not fighting Antonio Margarito, Cotto, Berto or Williams...he is fighting 35 year old Dlh who hasn't made 147 in 8 years. The fact that you think this will be some sort of monumental win if Pac wins when it is nothing more than a money fight makes me want to puke. This will only be a good win. Pac and Roach figure fighting Dlh will make us rich, and that this is a winnable fight since PAc fights southpaw. Money is the root of all evil. I won't let you Pac fans dusgust us with your infantile rantings of "Pac is a legend" lol. Won't happen!

50 years from now if boxing is still alive. Fans will look at the records of fighters and Calzaghe will stand out like a sore thumb. There is something about having a big 0 in the loss column. The numbers will be the deciding factor when in the future fans make fantasy matchups. No one including the most hard core fight fan will know who was the ring pfp at any point in time. Who has the ring heavyweight belt now? Or any of the other weight classes. It is never mentioned. For a while their it looked like they had something there but as soon as fans found out they were as flaky as the rest they dropped of the map. Ring sucks.

It so laughable and transparent how the Pac fans are spinning a fight against a 35 year old, who isn't in the top 20 P4P into a "no lose" bet. Pac is a lightweight champion fighting a semi-retired super middle weight at 147 and should be judged on that basis. Not that he USED to be a Featherweight or that Oscar USED to be able to compete at 160 (sort of!!!).

I don't really care who wins but it will be funny as **** if Oscar wastes Pac and the Ring drop Pac down in the P4P rankings. You'll hear the same people who are lauding the Ring for (rightly) not moving Calzaghe up, slating them for moving Pac down.
