:rofl YOU CLOWN! Of course he is but Thompson is not on the level of Eubanks and will never be! Eubanks prime would out box and out class Thompson at any wieght.

Pointless thread, of course he is. Undefeated, over a decade as world champion. Ring 168lbs and 175lbs champion, defining wins against some of the very best and most dangerous names out there, Chris Eubank, Jeff Lacy, Mikkel Kessler and also two wins against ATG in Jo0nes and Hopkins when Calzaghe was utterly shot to pieces.

    Shoe in ATG.

:huh Joe has never been "SHOT". If anything this the best we've ever seen of Jones. Over all his experience has gone through the roof fighting over the last 2 yrs with guys like Kessler, Jones and Hopkins which has only made him better....of course he's slowed a bit moving up in weight and the fact that he is 37....but he's the very BEST Joe to date and that is true.

Nobody & I mean NOBODY from 175 down would beat Hopkins clearly today.... the fact that Calzaghe even beat him AT ALL should be an argument FOR his greatness rather than AGAINST.

    So, thanks for that :good

Dire post. But then what should be expected of a guy who thinks James Toney peaked in the late 90s. If you think Hopkins's win over Oscar was better than his wins over Tarver and Pavlik, I pity you.

What sort of reason is that?? Amir Khan is an ATG then, as Khan has lost only once, Muhammad Ali lost 5 times.

Hopkins is a greater fighter than Calzaghe and the history of the sport will ensure that it stays that way forever.

    Of course he's an ATG.

Only a hater would say otherwise.

If someone's definition of ATG is a top 50 of all-time pound-for-pound fighter, and has Calzaghe 70th, are they a hater? Grow up.

ATG Lists on here have always been about a top 100 and he gets into that easily judging by some on the list that I know about.
