Vitali was NOT impressed with David Haye, he knows he would blast David out.

He was toying with the idea of a Lennox Lewis fight rather than focusing on David Haye, he knows to this day that Lennox is the last GREAT heavyweight and the only match for him since he will never fight his brother.

Let Wladimir have Haye I say, just to make it interesting.:smoke

 

i'd favor both klits against haye. but who knows what happens if haye lands a overhand right on wlad's chin. vitali destroys him.

 

I think after the K brothers take care of their mandatories, (great to hear Vitali WILL fight Gomez, and continue on after that), that they'll then try to fight Haye and I think Valeuv for further unification.

No other fight out there is very meaningful for either one, aside from Haye, given his statues and newly aquired clout at heavy, and Valuev, seeing as he has the last title they don't have.

Vitali ------Gomez, then Haye

Wlaid---------Rock, then probably another attempt to get Valuev

 

Everything is going fine for me personally, there is a lot of drama going off around me but everything is secure for me!

If you look at David Haye's past fights, he's never actually been a great mover. When we talk about his speed, its more in his hands than his legs. I don't believe he's ever kept people at range through footwork, its more the fact that when he throws a punch the other guy is gunshy once they feel it. I didn't notice much different from the Maccarinelli fight in this respect.

On the caution issue, in fairness he did only start to get wild when Barrett was there to be knocked out. I thought he fought solidly prior to that in the first couple. Those sort of finishing tactics are ill-conceived against the Klitschko's of course.

I think you would see a very cautious fight from Wladimir against this type of opponent. He would be very tense and reluctant to throw a right hand I feel. I think you'd see a lot of Wlad jabbing tentatively, Haye doing very little except looking to time him over the top and missing, and then Wlad tieing him up and then leaning on him.

Haye's handspeed looked good tonight, and he was able to make Barrett lurch. But I just looked up Haye's reach (seventy-eight) vs the Klitschkos. It is 3 inches less than Wlad and 2 inches less than Vitali. He would have some chance with Wlad but with that reach issue Haye would have to try to dart in and out or stand and trade to try to land punches. Otherwise, he eats jabs the whole fight and gets set up for right hands, like Sam Peter (77 reach; difference of 3 inches vs VK, as Haye would be 3 inches less than Wlad in reach) did against VK.

I was not impressed with Haye's movement tonight, and he is not going to beat either Klitschko via counterpunching. The chin, additionally, is not there.

I doubt highly Haye can beat Wlad, especially with the lesser reach. He won't beat Vitali. But that doesn't mean he can't have a legitimate and lucrative career at HW. I think someone will give him a "KTFO by" before too long, but maybe he can avoid that and wait until the Klitschkos are gone and then try to scrape up some belts.

 

Would have to take Vitali by stoppage around the 7th-8th round.

The thing that troubles me about Haye is how he freezes up when under pressure. He did that a little tonight against Barrett and I think that would cost him dearly against the Klitschkos.

But truth be told, Haye will no doubt put on a better performance than that **** we saw from Sam Peter. I say make the fight. I'll watch it!

 

He cant fight Vitaly as the man will kill him.

For a start he couldn't get near him; if he landed a punch he'd brake his hand on Vitaly's rock jaw; if he tryed to out speed him he'd get knocked out, and he couldn't get near him - and so on.

 

Vitali will murder Haye.

 

Another good point, and I think this dovetails with what TFFP said about Haye not being good with his feet, too. He doesn't react well when pressured and he doesn't really have the legs to move him out of trouble, especially now with the added bulk. I think that could prove fatal vs the Klitschkos, as well.
