Taylor is tough for anyone. Problem is he still has a tendency to go straight back and Kessler would take advantage of that, just as Pavlik did. JT looked pretty good tonight against a limited Lacey, but he did what he had to do to win, wich was to keep moving laterally and use his jab. The only time he got in trouble is when Lacy knocked him down and then JT went back to going straight back, Kessler would KO him if he did that. Another thing about JT is his stamina looked good tonight.
"A man who has never been defeated (except for against a guy who just happen to have his number)" :rofl Well, in that case, Kessler is also undefeated (except for his loss to Calzaghe, who happens to have his number). :yep :bbb
Straight lines? Kessler walks back in straight lines if anyone does. Jermain will take advantage of that!
How about two of the top four super middles in dominating fashion! Plus he KO'd a number of former champions. In fact all of his wins are either KO's or shutout decisions. His only loss was to P4P #3 Calzaghe in a great fight. He showed more ability in that loss than Taylor did in most of his wins.
Yes he did. He showed good toughness in this fight, but nothing of any elite skill level. Kessler would def outclass jermaine.
I would rate Andrade to beat Taylor too. With his sloppy defense, weak mind and lack of explosive KO power, I see Taylor folding under Andrades pressure and workrate.
So far I have only seen the Calzaghe fight and some youtube clips, he was damn impressive in the loss. I don't recall that being a problem. Kessler seems to be big for a SMW and has good pop and hand speed, so in a battle in guys with the same flaw, I take Kessler.
The problem with that line of thought is that there is bugger all chance of Jermain being able to back Mikkel up. Mikkel would be all over him like a bad suit.
