because it's very hard to land a standing elbow in the first place...did you ever think of that? I'm sure he wasn't expecting it.

That shot to Herring broke his orbital bone.. must have been a little power behind it.

    :D

Randy was more fragile than ever last night though.

The right hand that dropped him, regardless of where it landed, and the follow up G & P proved that.

Nothing to do with Brock Lesnar laying bombs on Randy like some people want you to believe.

Randy has been great for the UFC, and it was sad to see him stopped by a huge lump like Lesnar but I think it's time to retire. I hope he doesn't think about coming back, if Lesnar was 45 I'd back Randy to destroy him, but the guy is 31.

Wouldnt make any diffrence. 31 or 35 Randy has never coped well with athletic big men.Even Randys boxing is overrated.

    And?

It could be a picture perfect KO that puts Randy THROUGH the mat and they'd still say "ROFL WEAK SHOT HOLYFIELD EATS THOSE!"

If you're going to the boxing forum for objectivity then god bless ya pal.

TuffNutz, if you have so many years of experience watching boxing and MMA, than you should know that the first shot that Lesnar dropped Randy with would have effected anyone's equilibrium and knocked their legs out under them. Are you forgetting that Brock also out weighed Randy by 45lbs and that most of his weight is carried in his upper body? His fists probably weigh 35lbs each and getting a good 15+ hammer fists dropped after you've been knocked down surely would've rattled anyone's brain like a ping pong. Look at Randy's post reaction to the stoppage, it was clear he was out of it.
Not much else could be said about the knockdown or stoppage, it was legit. If you can't see that, you are simply in denial.

It looked to me like it landed on the top of his forehead. Study some anatomy and physiology, to find out what a 265 pound pro fighters ham like fist, thrown with bad intentions causes the brain to do inside the skull. :deal

Thats the point dumb ****ing idiot.

Brocks elbow buckled Randy's legs and wobbled him, something you don't see very often from elbows, what does that tell you? That Brock hits ****ing hard.

You have obviously never competed in any full contact sport if you think that getting hurt early has nothing to do with getting KO'd a few minutes later.
