It grows in Brazil, and it's very high on antioxidants.

What do you mean if it works? Antioxidants work, that's not even a question. You use them by eating them, or in acai berries case drink because they sell the juice. Many foods contain many different antioxidants, anti-inflamants and god knows what. It's useless to stare blind on acai berries. Other berries like blackberries and elderberries, garlic, fish oil, flaxseed oil, vegetables like spinach, kale and broccoli, the list goes on and on.

Just eat a varied diet consisting of natural foods. Including acai berries in that diet is a good plan, they're healthy.

Acai Berries are pretty damn good, but I recommend Goji. More antioxidants and it tastes better.

Goji berry juice. Some ice. Blend it. Bout two minutes. Baby, you got yourself one nice ass smoothie!

Why choose? You can have goji and acai. It may be a different antioxidant.

good advice rdj, no one food is a miracle food, no need to choose, you need them all, for those interested i just read johnny bowden book 150 healthiest foods, great info, blueberries seem to be the top rated if you only could choose one berry

I am a big fan of both. Just try and eat as much healthy stuff you can.

Never tried Acai or Goji, but I tend to find that there's normally a good reason for a lot of these exotic fruits staying obscure, they generally taste like the floor of a dungeon.

If they were that good for you on top of tasting great, they'd be as popular as apples and bananas.

Haven't tried goji but acai berries are quite tasty. Its juice mixed with raspberry is fantastic, pure it has a bit of an "earthy" taste if that makes any sense to you.

I don't know anyone that eats raspberries, blueberries, kiwi or any other fruits of exotic nature except me and they all taste great.

Barely anyone knows how elderberries taste and the elder is about as exotic as an oak tree.

Acai Berry? Decent cruiswerweight, but too small to make it with the big boys. Very nice head movement, but pretty weak punching power so he usually has to outwork his opponent to win. You need a lot of fitness for that style, and Berry hasn't been training much by the looks of it (he's carrying a bit of extra weight). Acai Berry needs to step up the roadwork and move down to light heavy. Maybe he'll win a secondary belt down there.
