Who do you think has the capability to do that to him at SMW? Genuine question - I'm not necessarily disagreeing with your points.

Knowing the nationality of a boxer you think you know well enough to critique shouldnt fall under general knowledge. Anyway its not so much getting the country wrong, mistakes happen, but different posters keep getting it wrong but coming up with the same wrong answer!. WTF!?

 

Dawson whoops kessler, taylor will not.

Jermain should stick to 160 lbs, his gas tank is not good and his skills are average. It's good enough for the weak 168 lb division, but I see him having a tough time with kessler.

I like your meaning. Yes, Kessler is where is he is, massively, by default. It doesn't interest me who could do this to him if we're already conceeding the truth of the matter. If Taylor is the only reasonably well rounded guy in the division, even if he just showed up, believe he could whip Kessler's ass in style, and it wouldn't surprise me one ****ing bit. If Kessler fought Taylor, BTW, it would be like looking in the mirror in a generic sense. Both guys like to plant themselves in front of an opponent and lance in and out with their strength and speed. The difference here being though Taylor has a much wider shot selection, far more tricks and manuevers, more experience against world class competition, and the sort of explosive counter punching ability to take what Dimitri Sartson did in minor spurts, and rewrite it in black and blue, and red.

 

Can't see it myself. Certainly not Pavlik, Bute or Froch, anyway. Dawson's the threat, but he's at LHW, as is Hopkins.

 

Thanks for that - I think you might be being a tad harsh on Kessler's ability, but I'd agree that an on-form Taylor is certainly the best equipped at the weight to beat him. It's definitely a fight I'd like to see.

 

From the very first post onwards there seems to be a consitant trend of bias on this thread. I'm sure Kessler will touch down on US soil soon enough and dispose of any of the opposition mentioned on here.

 

When you think Kessler comes from Amsterdam, i guess it shows how much knowledge you have about the guy

As an American fight fan who HATES them Euro fighters I have this to say.

When that rotten commie Kessler fly's out of Moscow to fight over here, he will be poopin his pants the entire flight.

You see, we don't have to know where the foreign fighters are from. All we need to do is say our guys are better over and over again. It works for us.
