But his first option is fighting Joe Calzaghe. check out the great interview with him on the site that has 15 rounds, he knows what he's talking about. I think he beats both of them, they are not big heavyweights. I would love to see him against Holyfield, that will be the dirtiest fight of all time, headbutts and elbows will be flying all over the place.
Another fight I would love to see is Hopkins against James Toney. i'm surprised nobody in the industry mentions this as an option, it will sell many PPV's and it can help the legacy of both. I always liked Bernard in this matchup and even now, when James is much bigger, I still like Nard, especially after Toney's last fight. But anything can happen in this fight, Toney is certainly capable of knocking him out.
no one is crazy enough to fight wladimir at this moment unless A. broke, B. not broke but not living the millionaire's life. or C. undfeated and seriously thinks wladimir's defense and chin are crap
What a hypocrit Ruiz atleast was decent he has wins over Golota, Rahman, Holy and Oqeundo while holy is nearly 10 yrs removed from his prime as evidenced with his one sided loses to Byrd, Toney, and Donald all 3 he would have killed in his prime.
Hopkins would finaly fight someone older than him but of course Holyfield is not going to win with Sultan.
bhop vs holy for the belt would be cool i think.but b hop cant talk **** to rjj for fighting john.ruiz might be better then the two options bhop has.at least he was back then.
It seems Hopkins goal of recently is to fight in the most boring fight of all time. Perhaps, he should fight Cory Spinks next , instead.

At least Bernard is honest enough to admit in the interview that the likes of Wlad and Peter are too big for him, RJJ thinks he can beat all of them easily in one night (not to mention that he is still no 1 pound for pound)...
