According to Box Rec he is 31. The guy only has 23 fights. If he is ever going to do anything important he needs to get his ass in gear.

Remember taylors promoter admitted openly that the lacy fight is much easier than froch. the names on froch's record might not make it look that he is a top world prospect, but the manner in which he's beaten these guys highlights how good he is. imo froch would win any fight in the smw division by knockout.

Why the hell should Calzaghe fight this guy? Just because they're both British? Aren't there better fights out there for him? Would he make much money on this fight in the UK?

The champ makes the title not the other way around, right? So even if he beats Pascal, is he light-years ahead of Dirrell, Ward, Balzsay or anyone else out there? Balzsay for example never ever gets a mention even though he's fighting for the WBO belt in a couple of months.

Froch has been calling Calzaghe out from day dot. No he hasnt done anything yet to prove he deserves a crack but if he wins the WBC title in good fashion on Free to air TV, the fact they are both Brits could give them both a good angle to sell the fight.

Yes Calzaghe would box his ears off, we all know that is a fact... but the average sportsfan is a dumbass.

It would be a shame if Calzaghe came back from retirement only to fight this guy.

Not hard to beat that tomato can he fought last time out, he doesn't have great speed or a good defence so I don't see how you've come up with that assement. You could have used that analysis for Amir Khan before he got KTFO by Prescott, beat aload of bums well and your worldclass?

They're not just saying he's world class. They're saying he's the best or second best in a deep, competitive division.
