Chad Dawson. However, Calzaghe would be smart to wait 6-9 months...Let Arthur Abraham, Winky Wright, Felix Sturm, Dennis Inkin, Carlo Froch, Lucian Bute, and Chad Dawson have some fights amongst each other.....And see who stands out. Because in 9 months time, at least one fighter from that group will be worthy of a bout with calzaghe. Right now, none of them are.
The winner of Valuev Holyfield. Valuev wants a big money fight and Holyfield just wants money. Failing that Dawson.
Personally, I would love a Kessler - Calzaghe II fight. I think the majority of posters here would rather see Dawson - Calzaghe though.
Hopkins II, it's obvious. The outcome of their first fight was controversial, Calzaghe and B-Hop are the men at LHW, plus the rematch wouldn't be boring since B-HOP changed his attitude and seems rejuvenated - he wants to fight more aggressively, clinch less and throw more punches. It'd be a big fight, probably the biggest in 2009, and imo it would also be an exciting fight (contrary to the first one). Dawson jsut isn't there yet. Sure he's young and talented and fast and good etc... but all he has done until now is beat Thomas Adamek (and getting knocked down in the process), beat a faded Antonio Tarver and get a gift against old man Glen Johnson. I'm not dissing the guy, he can amount to something in the future, he's got a lot of potential, but he's certainly not as deserving yet as people make him out to be. IMO he should take a rematch with Glen Johnson, and why not on the undercard of Calzaghe-Hopkins II? If he beats Johnson convincingly, he could fight the winner of Calzaghe-Hopkins II later in 2009.
