Rocky would brutalise him, no doubt about it. But this Lamotta would get knocked out in 1 business is absurd.

Nice way of putting it. :good

Jake couldn't hurt Rocky in any way, but Rocky certainly could (and would) hurt Jake.

This wouldnt be a plausible matchup in reality or in anybody's wildest dreams. Marciano would slaughter Jake, crack his chin with ease and end it in 2 rounds.

Rocky had the horsepower of lennox and Foreman in a small frame....Jake would hit the canvas before 3 in this one...mistake Jake

i put it through the simulator.....fightnight round 2

    and it seems jake wins2-3

1st lamotta stops marciano with a cracking left jab while both men are tired round 4
2nd maricano blows his steam after knoking lamotta down early and has nothing left lamotta destorys rocky in round 5
3rd rocco bombs out the game lamotta in 2 rounds

as big l put it "i got the wildstyle always been a foul chiled,my guns go boom boom while your guns go powpow"

Jake started out at light heavy. In real life, Marciano might only have had 15 pound on Lamotta. If you give Lamotta 2 extra inches and 15 pounds, I'd still pick Marciano.

Lamotta was not a good puncher at middle. His skills are a tad under rated though.

At any rate, I'd pick Rocky.

The joke is the twenty five pounds or less between them is a lot smaller than the gap Rocky would face against a Liston or a Foreman or a Lewis ... Maybe it is not such an outrageous thread if you look t it that way ... if the reason every pulls for Rocky is size it should work against Rocky against bigger heavyweights ...

damn its not that hard to follow even if it is a ridiculous stupid hypothetical post. they are both heavy weights at the same time same era(no one is bigger they are both the same size and close enough of same record) as for jakes power as a middle he kod some good light heavies. now all im saying is that jakes whole carreer he is campaining as a heavy and so is marciano. so whos winning?
