You've just run accross him ? A hater and a troll. And not exactly knowledgeable on the topic of this forum. Of the boxere mentioned, the only one I would give a 50/50 chance with Kessler is Dawson.
:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl I've forgotten more about boxing then you'll ever know. Dawson 50/50 vs Kessler? Is that one arm and a blindfold?
If he knows 40% of what there is to know now. You knew 50%, but has forgotten 49%. Then you are right in saying you have forgotten more than he knows, but the end-result still is that he knows 40% of what there is to know, and you know 1%. Hmm... I'm not sure that was what you wanted to say...
I've been following the sport for a bit over twice your lifetime, sonny. (Mid 1965). And I probably have forgotten more than you know now about the game. I won't say more than you'll ever know, as you might learn. But you won't progress by getting a hate-on for quality fighters whose work you've rarely seeen. You need to keep an open mind. Kessler/Dawson is around 50/50. If I had to pick one, it'd probably be Chad. All the others you mentioned would lose to Kessler, some of them badly
Its like the Larry Bird said, its not how many jumpshots you take while practicing, its how many you make. What that means is, if you practice ****ing up, you arent going to get any better. :smoke Now, the fact you think Kessler has a chance against Dawson, a bigger, stronger, faster fighter, shows you have your Calslappy nuthugger glasses on. The fact that you think a mechanical fighter like Kessler destroys Behop, means you forget to clean your Calslappy nuthugger glasses. Cuz obviously you didnt see Bhop vs Calzaghe and Bhop vs Pavlik. Now I can see if you think Kessler might destroy Taylor, since you think just because PAvlik knocked him out, Kessler would, but I tell you, that if Taylor doesnt stand in front of Kessler, doesnt take rounds off, and stays disciplined, I'd give him a 50-50 shot. But Kessler 50-50 against Dawson lol? I'd be surprised if he didnt get stopped.
You sound confused, son. What does Calzaghe have to do with any of this ? The thread is about guys who would beat Kessler. I tossed in Calzaghe simply because he already has.
Im guessin you are a Calzaghe fans. Cuz there are only like 3 Kessler fans. Calzaghe fans want to hype Kessler because they know Calzaghe's legacy is about to be destroyed if he fights anyone of note.
I've heard this line plenty of times. :dead 3 Kessler fans, and they're all from Denmark, right? And/or all their other favorite fighters are robotic Europeans, right? Well guess what? I'm a yankee doodle do or die and I was rooting for Kessler when he fought Calzaghe, as I'd actually paid attention to the international boxing scene and become interested in him long before their fight. No Danish ancestry. None of my other top ten favorite fighters are European. I'm not a robotic-European-loving Danish Kessler fan, and I'm not a Calzaghe hugger posing as a Kessler fan to make Joe look good, so whoops there goes that theory.
I think Kessler definitely beats Taylor, it's a 50/50 fight with B-Hop and i would make Dawson favourite, but not by much. Kessler is not robotic, he has fast hands and throws a very good array of punches. After 6 or 7 rounds with Calzaghe it was still looking like an even money fight, it was only in the second half of the fight that Calzaghe began to pull away and he had to adlust his tactics to do so and rely on his speed and doubled up southpaw jab.
it should be guys that could beat beat kessler a fight i would like to see is kessler v johnson albeit johnson cannot make 168 and kessler would have to move up. the obvious fight at 168 ,is taylor to go after kessler and have the fight in america , but the ball is in taylor`s court.
