What is "elitist" about sticking to your guns and retaliating to personal abuse? Your belief in your right to pass definitive judgement on others is a far less savoury characteristic. Maybe save the sanctimonious bull**** and stick to debating the issues at hand.

    Bernards record:

    Wins -
    Winky Wright W12
    Kelly Pavlik W12
    Felix Trinidad TKO12
    Oscar De La Hoya KO9
    Glen Johnson TKO12
    Antonio Tarver UD12
    Antwun Echols UD12, TKO10

    Close defeats -
    Joe Calzaghe - LSD12
    Jermain Taylor - LSD12, L12

    Clear defeats -
    Roy Jones L12

No offence to Joe Calzaghe, I actually don't mind Joe, but his numbers don't stack up too well to the above.

And don't get me started on the Roy Jones comparison; it gets worse for Joe there.

Although I don't know why I'm even answering in this thread, which is obviously another Joe Calzaghe "wind-up operation".

Are you just playing being sarcastic or what?...

He genuinely believes he is some sort of leftfield, pioneering comedian smirking down at us from an ivory tower of sarcasm and irony, when really these dire attempts to "wind people up" amuses no-one except his grovelling "in the know" Calzaghe co-obsessives, and only serves to hoist him up even further as a figure of ridicule.

Long may these threads continue I say :good

I agree Calzaghe proved a whole lot in these last two wins ( plus against Eubank, Reid, Veit, Mitchell, Lacy, Kessler) but I sincerely can't see him beating all those guys Hops and Jones did beat and in those circumstances. You can't simply judge em all for two fights and for posterity.
