Fair point, in which case you would have to also include the guy who was 217lbs(Semishkur) when Haye thought him. Just goes to show Haye has no problem knocking these big guys out.
Haye is talkin a lot, but when you are in the ring with Vitali K. talking is the wrong thing to do....
yeah right "fairly easy" sure...i love how some of Haye's fans make it sound like Wlad is some bum now. Vitali may be stylistically a harder fight for Haye since Vit is a devastating counter puncher but Wlad would make Haye look like an amateur in my estimation. Wlad would dominate haye from the outside. haye has power and speed but he is a limited boxer. he is quick early but his stamina issues slow him down quickly. He is more of a slugger than boxer at this point. he picks his spots to explode then does next to nothing for the next 30 seconds (not too disimilar from Arthur Abraham w/o the chin and high guard)....very predictable if u ask me. poor balance, easily overpowered in clinches, sloppy as time passes... Wlad sets the tempo with his jab, wears him down in clinches, utilizing quick and shorts foot movements showing haye different angles so he can't measure Wlad effectively...Haye wont land a single big blow imo. Wlad's most difficult style to deal with is pure aggression like what Peter was able to do. He was able to walk through Wlad's power for 10+ rounds to get close. That's the only reason he could land his clubbing shots on the back of his head. U people think Haye can walk through Wlad's power? Haye fights in spurts which will allow Wlad to set his tempo and dictate the distance, which means it turns into a boxing contest. And guess who that favors... in a fight pitting a skilled boxer vs. a powerful slugger always go with the boxer :yep haye has a slim puncher's chance in the first 3-4 rounds but after that, he's finished. a very dangerous fighter early but if wlad fights smart, he will not be beaten by this guy. my predicition: Wlad tko 6 > Haye quits on his stool after eating jabs and getting manhandled in the clinch :good
By the looks of things he's genuine in his desire to fight the best. I have a lot of admiration for what Haye is doing.
Haye's crazy, but if he can be entertaining against either Klitschko win or lose and people start watching Heavyweight tilts again, then it'll be worth it. If he gets knocked out in 2, then it'll be a bunch of hype for nothing.
I actually think Haye has a better chance of beating Vitali rather than Wlad. He has a chance to win a decision against Vitali. But, he has to somehow stay away from Vitali the entire night. I'm telling you, Wlad is almost as quick as haye is, despite Wlad being much bigger than Haye too. Wlad can move away from Haye, he's athletic and big enough. Wlad will use his jab effectively early on, hiding his big right and making Haye wonder when its coming. Then turn the jab into a big left hook that haye never sees coming, and then ending Haye's night. Vitali is the best chance for Haye.
Either Haye is going for one big payday or he thinks he is going to KTFO Vitali. Good luck to him, he is a breath of fresh air, but he may not last much longer than a straight right down the pipe.
