yeah i will. don't like ppv anymore than the next person though. might well do on december 6th as well. if oscar-pac is on the card. :bbb
he's admitted he'll retire probably next year. not as good as who makes out. not many around here rate hatton particularly highly anymore. :bart i still think he's a world class fighter and a difficult night for anyone at 140/147. i think he still has a big win in him to. :thumbsup
I will be buying, having a poker night with my mates so this will tag along at the end nicely. I think Ricky will lose if the Lazcano Ricky shows up. Otherwise I will love to see Ricky smash up Maliggnagi, such a loud mouh little ****. Ricky does look sharp in the lead up though so I am hopefull all is not lost for the little manc chav Oh I won't be bothering with 'Prizefighter' though. Load of crap.
I hate Hattons hardcore travelling fanbase these days. Boo the national anthem,..."ooh are ya,ooh are ya?"... Oasis following gang of embarrassing shitbag Footie yobs. Tossers. Just thought i'ds tell you that.
Aye true, was getting carried away i think. Either that or i was in "local" mode (big night last night) Good call bro :good I aint even gonna bother to decipher, best left alone :hey Anyways Hairy :bbb P.S. Its 15 squid ! ! I was expecting it to be double. Wouldnt of been surprised.
I think you're right and I'm wrong - the Pac bill it probably is: what with him being a Golden Boy Freddie "The Hibs fan" Roach fighter. (Although not a fan, it was great to see the wee man wearing the strip for his fighter. He's got to go for the Saltire woad-type make up and Costello nerd spec's at his next fight. This guy is a hero of mine and I'm sure he must have a Scots grannie or something.) Ta for bringing me to my senses!!
Matthew Hatton is the new anthony farnell. His record doesnt do justice to his ability im afraid. Dont think i will be buying this, only hatton fight interests me but a 4am start is too late. Wot happened to decent undercards?? I remember sky shows from a few years ago were full of good match ups , now its 1 or maybe 2 at a push and loads of pundit talk goin over old footage and interviews
I'm not going to buy it. It's nothing against them personally but I find both fighters very boring. Hatton seems to spend the whole fight clinching and Malignaggi spends it running. I'll save the £15 for December 6th.
M Hatton does not make an A Farnell, I only seen him on his brothers cards i admit, they certainly are leagues apart regarding attitude and style to me. Farnell........HEART GRIT and a good skill set, wrong time in many ways it seems. He had Alexander Williams Tak ( somehow, he seemed and was effective though i didnt like watching ) etc around that time, that was only domestic also. Yeah a shame a couple of those match ups never happened. Anyways, just the topic conjoured up memories of Arnie,Arthur etc , coming through around 2000. Hairy :deal P.S. aint there a fighter in the Hatton Prizefighter comp this week, that was also around Arnie's time , Peters/Samuels ?
Farnell had heart and passion. But that was all. His skill level was quite average and his level was domestic at best. He never fought Alexander despite the bad blood between them. When he did fight Tak he got wiped out in a stunning KO.His best win was when he beat Ruben Groenwald by a razor thin split decision to win the much coveted WBU. He cried in the ring after the fight as he "thought" he was a world champ..
Remember the time well, Tak's uppercut with his chin in air style. Farnell at the time, even looked well covered and he didnt get up ! ! ! Taks got dig or Arnie aint got a chin, not thought about it, yet i was quite shocked. Skilllevel , yeah average, hence i lower cased the good skill set when compared to heart etc. Never saw the WBU Title win,i can excuse the tears, maybe he knew better than us......WBU standard and not British :hey He went the distance a lot from what i remember, grinding out wins based on pure heart. He could dig also, maybe domestically or less, he did have it Hairy :bbb
