I had cotto winning it by a point.

I thought it was a LOT closer than the announcers made it out to be.

    Thank god.

:D Yes, it was closer, but not just a one-point win. I had it 115-112, which I think was a fair score.

Whiaker-Chavez, Griffin-Toney II, Ottke-Reid rank in the same category.

Sadly outright robberies aren't unique of course. Often the worst are in little backwaters on non-televised bouts, where someone can get totally ripped off against a hometown favourite.

    Which fights? Tell me please.

Lewis-Holy was a very bad decision. Sturm-DLH was as bad.

Well, he was a gypsy and German boxing was already controlled by the Nazis back then, it happened 1933, so what do you expect, they needed an excuse to get rid of him - and later they killed him in a concentration camp. At the time they also threatened Erich Seelig to kill him if he enters the ring one day before he defended his German mw title. Seelig first flew to france and later to the states. He had a good career there and his best ranking was number 6 by the ring in 1938. He was threatened because he was jewish. Those were some really bad days.

The Mitchell, Brewer I, Reid and that Dansih fight. You got 4 robberies there.

The vast majority of people disagree with you with regard to the Ottke. You are in small minority if you think only the Reid fight is roobery. Might be a good idea to rewatch those fights with the SOUND OFF. Don't let you fool by those light ottke flurries and the cheering crowd.

Wanna go with it again? Yeah, only the Reid fight was a robbery. The word robbery is one of the most overused terms in boxing. Close fights are no robberies. That´s like saying Hopkins was robbed against Calzaghe. I had the fight for Hopkins by a point but no way this was a robbery. Same here. I woned you in the other thread, no point in doing this again. You have to fight an elimantor before I accept you as a worthy challenger again.:tong

I can only give you some advice: Rewatch those fights with the sound off. You obvously were mislead by the cheering crowd and the incompetent commentatory.

    - I won't start arguing with you on this subject again, I just recomand you to rewatch those fights. Ottke carries no power at all in those light flurries but the crowd just goes wild.
