Edison Miranda?

Pavlik/Abraham is extremely easy to analyze and predict. However, nothing ****s up analysis and prediction quite like a good right hand, and AA does have that. That's not debatable. Pavlik has virtually every advantage over Abraham. He should be able to take Arthur out in 8 rounds. However, nothing would really surprise me in this fight. Well -- one thing would, and that would be Arthur winning a decision. Other than that I can imagine a variety of scenarios. However, with the current talk of AA fighting Winky in Feburary, Pavlik/Abraham may never happen. If Arthur takes a fight with winky, it'll be Pavlik/wright in a Unification match next summer.

 

Although there was talk of this fight earlier in the year, I dont think it would ever happen unless there was something big at stake. They are very good friends and have sparred together many times. I dont like it when friends fight, it seems more exciting when you know the two guys dont care for each other. Miranda really wants Taylor. But he is not ready or deserves this fight now. He needs to win 1-2 decent fights first.

For 1 i actually like Kelly.. and still do .. but the excuses got out of hand after the fight, i wouldn't mind so much if it was just the physical complaints (ranging from fever to elbow injury to bronchitis.... which is a direct contradiction to him saying he was never winded once in the whole fight)

What really really blew sportmanship wise is that he gave Hopkins 0 credit saying it had nothing to do with Bernard's skill or slickness that he won.

Kelly is a exciting fighter and fun to watch so i think and hope he will rebound, but you also give way too little credit to AA and a fight between the 2 is hard to predict.
Watch him more closely n you will see there is a lot of subtleties to him.

He looked drained at 160 against Abraham.

He should fight at 168 instead imo. Also more big fight opportunities there. If Miranda is smart he should contact the Kessler people, because some people actually believe Kessler was scared of Miranda so they may be able to get a fight with Kessler. Usually, Miranda is not in the best position to get a free shot at the Ring no.1 at SMW, but because of the previous discussions they should definitely keep the possibility open with the Kessler people. Miranda probably isnt the first on the list, but if other things don't pan out it could be there for Pantera. :bbb

 

People, stop giving excuses for Miranda's losses, bottom line, his not skilled enough at the highest level of the sport. End of story, power and a bodybuilder physique won't get you a title.

Miranda would fight Kessler if the chance came. If you ask him, he wants JT first. But until he rebounds from the loss, these opportunities are unlikely. Sure, if Kessler cant get the bigger money fights he wants, he may decide to let Pantera have a shot to settle the score they started earlier in the year. Until then, expect one or two Porras/Banks types of fights. It is not Miranda's choice. The big networks and commisions demand a win (or two) under your belt until elimination/title fights are normally allowed. Another rebuilding time, not what I was hoping for.
