Odd decision.
Sounds like another one that Frank Warren would have nothing to do with aswell :think
He wouldn't have wanted Stretch in his corner surely. Especially after his last loss.
I guess if they've been working with eachother in America then they will stick with eachother.
Same with Alex Arthur though, no point having a trainer like Roach if he isn't going to be with you during your fights.

It will not make an ounce of difference whether stretch is there or not. He is not exactly a master trainer. He pals up with Roach and gets sent over here for the Khan fight.

I guess Khan and Streetch have lots in common in that he was also a metrosexual and protected till Eubank sorted him out.

 

good to see another side to Stretch....believe me i disliked him when he fought Eubank an loved it when he got his ass whupped.
Watchin him in Dead Man's Shoes (Shane Meadows film) slowly made me forget how much i disliked him....
must see film!!? :good

 

I didn't think he was that good in that to be honest. Not a bad film, but not great.

I met Stretch a couple of years ago and he came across as a nice bloke.

This seems like a strange decision though because he told me he didn't really watch or take much interest in boxing these days.

Latest....Stretch sacked by Khan`s people and not coming over! Seems he talked too loosely to the media. Only a rumour but i`ll get more details.
