I don't hate British boxing at all, there is no justification for that. As with everything, I take each case on its own merits. For every time I criticize Joe Calzaghe and Naseem Hamed, I praise guys like Lennox Lewis, Ken Buchanan, Nigel Benn and Ricky Hatton - especially Lewis. I don't melt with pleasure every time someone mentions a fighter who was born within 1000 miles of me, instead I praise who I believe is worthy of praise and criticize who I think is worthy of criticism. Plus, this thread is stupid. As is your accusation.

 

Good man for referring to Bradley and Tarver. Hatton/Paulie is a pick 'em fight for me though. The USA/UK rivlary is alive and well in 2008 and tomorrow we add yet another chapter to it. Ring Magazine did a pictorial on it not too long ago.

I wanted Roy Jones to win but didn't think he would, Calzaghe means nothing to me.
I didn't care about Haye but knew he would win.
I really want Hatton to win, but think he might lose.
Depends if Malignaggi is actually any good, because I'm really not sure.
