No matter what the outcome december 6th (and with the vast size difference its hard not to go with oscar), I for one think this doesn't entitle oscar to then fight another relative midget and low risk/high reward cash cow like hatton.
I know money talks and hatton will probably take the most cash- but it would be another size mismatch and would surely rob the true fans of a far better match-up,,packman vs hatton.
Packs made it clear in the past he wanted to go up to 140 and no more to fight hatton ,,this being before oscars dangled his desperate golden carrott,,,and it seems he'll probably do the same with hatton. It's more a vanity project than anything else IMHO, and it denies us a classic match up..Besides surely someone like moseley again would do so much more for oscars reputation Thats my two cents anyway, any thoughts?

    * P.S **** just read all the other similar threads people are posting, still any further thoughts?,,,and do you think oscar even acknowledges the fans views anymore?

I think your right,The hitman & Manny would be the better fight!Anytime Hatton has moved up in weight he has struggle! Manny would have no problem fighting at 140! I really hope Pacman beats Oscar & we get to see a real classic between two warriors!! Yep Pa!!

I thought I heard Pac say win or lose he will stay at 147. Big mistake. He should go down to 135 or 140. The beating he is going to get will prompt him to go down.

Pac won't fight Ricky. Forget about it. He's not old enough.

I think we get DLH-Hatton at the MGM Grand in Vegas, May 2009.

Golden Snaggle Tooth Promotions is happy to promote it there where DLH is more comfortable. Tthey can make a windfall from the ridiculous site fee that the MGM will put up.

If Pacquiao pulls off the upset, then he fights either Hatton or Mayweather.

I think Hatton-Pacquiao will be the most intriguing from a competitive standpoint.

If Pac wins over ODLH, Floyd will never let a Pac-Hatton takes place. He'll fight Pac first. A Pac lose means a Hatton-Pac fight...

That's the only thing he's good at, hugging. :D

Once he faces a prime fighter with speed and power he will taste the ring post and canvass again. :yep

Im guessing Hatton will make a 70-30 price against Pac.

You had that on reverse... It's hatton that is tailor made for pac. The only advantage hatton against pac is strength when it comes to mugging and hugging. he can't pull this one off since pac is an explosive in and out fighter with fast feet.

Pac's southpaw stance will nullify hattons jab (which is the only thing going for him againts paulie) he will eat flush left straights (the best in the business) when he comes forward with his face first attacks, he will also get caught by pac's fast counter right hooks.

Now if pac can bring his power to 140 then hatton will be in deep ****... let's just hope Dela Homo won't ruin pac so we can see this war!

I tend to disagree, Pac fought already clinchers and dirty fighters. It's not like Pacquiao can't and will not try to adapt to Hatton's style if the fight is ever made.
Of course they will set out a blueprint, theyre not gonna stand and not train about it do they?
Hatton will try to find Marquez blueprint and mold it with Mayweather Sr's guide.
While Pac would train a different scenario about his past experience with clinchers.

That would mean Pacquiao actually should win....

this pac stuff is out of control..He has had one fight with a fighter that is a natural lightweight or above now all of a sudden he going to beat Oscar and hatton and everyone eles south of 160:lol:

All because he picked up a lightweight title from some street vendor...Sad thing is after Oscar removes his head from his body the sackswingers will all jump on the bandwagon about how the fight should have never happened...this is a dangerous fight and Pac could really get hurt here, I hate this fight. But if Pac could call on the gods and somehow win it would be the biggest upset of the past 100 years in any sport.
