i thought hatton done well.i didnt see much a d diffrnce though in his performance other than he did take his time.He didnt move his head much and his defence was quite low most of the times.but all in he looked a lot more confident than i thought
How does a guy remain at the same weight and get weaker every fight? In retrospect, Cotto ruined whatever was originally there. Both Pacquaio and Marquez (and maybe that Holm girl too) have superior punching power.
I bought it AND was in/up for it......Hattons chin in air worried me, wasnt even like his hands were down lower etc, he was very upright, im guessing he knew he couldnt be hurt. Paulie, great words at the end of the fight,i actually felt bad for him, its his living to talk **** and fight, then he gets pulled out. He could of been pulled in the 3rd 5th or 8th.....I t looked to me more like Buddy wanted a piece of the cake. Was he wearing jeans and brown shoes ? ( in some ways i was still sleeping, please clarify ) Anyways Hairy :deal Btw , i think Healy got it right regarding he dosent know whether to box or fight, last night Hatton looked young in there, fresh to some extent
I just watched some of the fight.Who'd of thought after malignaggi tellin ricky to leave his wrestling pants at home, it would be him holding on ridiculously !!!
True, i was shocked at his holding. I knew he was a "boxer" who stood in front of you etc, never seen movement last night as i never in previous fight's/highlight's I laughed most of the fight watching the taller man, going thigh level etc , holdng etc As much as ppl said it was a ripoff etc, it had a few problems. New coach etc As i said before, listening to the cornermen/coaches etc is a BIG part of the fight for me and what i pay for...yesssssss i hate the adverts between rounds :deal Hairy :good
Cotto failed with a pressure fighter Make out what, Hattons better? Whats Cotto done better ? hAIRY :happy
If hatton moved his head more, and carry a defense i would put him with a greater chance at pacman. Otherwise pacman would destroy him inside 7 rounds, in my view to be honest!
Pac will roast him, weight issue or not. Ricky Hatton looked like a rabbit in headlights in some ways, as mentioned, didnt know whether to box or bang....good call :good Hairy :deal
Yup i am :good Maybe the only scot to buy an england top ( ok i bought it for ring entrances, upset the locals ala Eubank ) Dont worry yer safe :nut Hairy :deal
I didn't bother staying up to watch this. ***lianaggi was never going to really trouble Hatton with his 5 KO's
Hatton won every round, apart from the first. He made it look easy and that was against a boxer whose style was meant to give Ricky all sorts of problems. Was he back to his best? Don't know, but the pace he set throughout the fight shows he's not finished just yet.
