I think it would take me about two days to get bored with Vegas. NY on the other hand would never cease to amaze me. Europe has a lot of interesting cities, compared to even small cities in Europe, Vegas is a one dimensional piece of ****.

2 reasons, it was supposedly joes last fight so folk wanted to see it. if hatton had said this was his last one guarentee there would have been 10k plus. secondly and importantly in current climate its about £150 more to fly to vegas than new york.

Hatton is the more popular, I have been to vegas for Hatton vs mayweather and castilo and Calzaghe vs Hopkins. I had to choose between these two and the fact that Calzaghe was fighting at Madison Square Garden made my mind up for me.

In the UK hatton could fill a 90,000 stadium and Calzaghe could probably fill about 50,000 at best.

Also someone said before that vegas is more expensive, flights yes but hotels etc are so much cheaper in vegas the they are pretty much equal costs at the end of the week.
