exactly. vitaly is very good, but he couldn't beat an old lennox lewis. whether it was a close fight no one can say vitali won it either. he is an accomplished atg that has nothing left to prove. if vitali did actually get his way with a rematch and won it wouldn't prove anything. lewis has been retired for far too long.

He's old, fat, not very funny, and not very fair

But compared to Floyd he was simply fantastic

Money talks but it's funny like Lewis can come back, Vitali may fight his own brother in a kill game and still Evander only gets **** from everybody... It may prove that there's a tender heart for Holyfield.

Disagree. It will give Vitlai the lineal heavyweight championship, case closed!

It will also be a huge PPV night for boxing, and we need it.

    Come back Lewis!

Too bad, I would have watched a rematch! I think Lewis (if he took 9 months) could mount a serious comeback, even at his age.

    1. He really hasn't taken that much damage over his career
2 His skills never seemed to be diminished, just his hunger
    3. He's a "young" 43 -- certainly "younger" than Foreman was

I think it's really a case of "why bother" -- he beat everyone, avenged every loss, a "W" is a "W" -- case closed. Vitali really does need to establish his own legacy, after all, the clock is ticking and I don't think Vitali will be able to fight into his 40's.

Why doesn't ODLH call out Muhammed Ali?

The V Klit - Lewis rematch should have been made a long time ago. Someone was scared and we can never be sure who, but it will never happen and we will never know the result.

    Let Lewis enjoy his retirement.

    I just watched the tape.

I saw an old, out of shape Lewis stop Vitali - the champion of the next era.

Vitali had his chance but failed. The proof is there like you said. Thanks for the advice. :good
