dont take his posts seriously...he's like Terrance and Phillip...you laugh at his fart jokes and move on nothing he says has any REAL validity
Where's Berto in all this? We all know what happened with that fight :hey So itll be Mosley vs. Berto most likely...and hopefully Shane takes it so he can call out Margo or vice versa
Cunningham ... if he beat Adamek? - Which he won't. Dawson ... first to break Calzaghes record? - Not a chance. Hopkins ... one more time? - Against who? Taylor ... will he beat Kessler? - Nope. Pavlik ... will he beat Hopkins or Abraham? - No and uh - No. DLH ... best chance ... after he beat PAC then Hatton - He may well beat both, but he's bigger than Hatton anyway... Williams ... getting belt at 154? - Quite possibly. PBF ... coming from behind of retirement? - Most likely. Mosley ... after he beats Margarito? - He'll stand a good chance IF Margarito gives him the fight. His style is all wrong for Margarito. Campbell ... unifying division?[/quote] - Can't see it happening, to be honest.
This isnt a british thing, this is rest of the world fighters as opposed to american fighters and tbh it's true that american fighters are on the wane. you dominate 1 division-light middleweight- and in much of the rest are bit part players with apparently few to none coming through the ranks long term judging on the terrible performance at the olympics. i concede that america does have it's champions but considering its stature as THE traditional powerhouse of boxing there is a dearth. And in terms of hope, i think you shot yourself in the foot by pitting your, frankly, great white hope of pavlik in the ring against hopkins an experienced veteran on his way out of the game, huse bolstered his legacy by dismantling the aura surrounding pavlik. i forsee jeff lacy ptII in pavlik although i really hope that doesnt happen
most of your decent fighters are due to retire and your prospects are being exposed one by one. the same story for britain. so we are both ****ed at present, lets hope some new prospects come through the next olympics yeh.
True at some point! but you have to look at the population in the UK allso, 4-6 good fighters out of, how many 50-60 million!? its quite good
