    1 - Pac
    2 - JC
    3 - JMM
    4 - Izzy
    5 - Hopkins
    6 - Raf
    7 - Margarito
    8 - Williams
    9 - Cotto
    0 - Hatton

close - Vic, calderon, Dawson, Wlad, Haye, cambell, diaz

The reason i have Hatton at 10 instead of vic is because vic got dominated and knocked out by donaire, then got a draw, THEN had a spectacular fight against mirajes.... Hatton had a decent fight against mayweather jr before getting stopped, but didnt get dominated like vic did... and so to me, they are interchangable.... but i think if they were the same size it would be a good fight, and since i have to go with one, i went with hatton... due to vics draw and that hatton lost to mayweather and vic to donaire.

People complain too much about these rankings.... they are impossible to get 100% right because there is no real formula. What i do is rank what fighters have the most impressive history, most impressive recent history, compare wins and losses, and also how good a fighter i think they are compared to their peers... h2h and such.

It has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with the voting system.

The second one was a split decision (and it would have been a draw if not for the knockdown in Round 12), and in the first one he was winning at the time of the TKO.

I'm also thinking about Vasquez and Marquez. These guys butchered each other in 3 fights, they may be shot and haven't fought(rightfully so)since Feb. 1st.

Are they really top 4 material(Izzy)and top 10 material(Rafa) at this point?

Same situation with Calzaghe, if he's not going to fight another top opponent, I think they ought to be dropped some notches. What do we do about Pac with this DLH fiasco... he surely would lose under legitimate circumstances.

It's a mess. So maybe we ought to think on it.

I agree. The man beat Margo at 147 avenged his loss to Quintana Koed a guy at 160 in one round and is fighting a title holder at 154. If that's not the definition of P4P I don't know what is?

Also Cotto still being on the list is a joke. You don't get stopped by a guy barely ranked in the top 25 P4P in Margo and still remian in the top 10.:deal Hell hatton lost to PBF who at that time was #1 P4P and he was dropped out of the top 10. Cotto should be no higher than 13 or 14 after his loss to Margo.

You mean the second was a tko in which Raf was winning, and the third was a SD win for Izzy right? Yeah, Raf was winning the first fight before the stoppage, but Izzy was coming back. I actually had Raf winning the third fight. It doesn't matter who was winning the second fight since it was stopped.

Dawson being above Margarito and Williams is ridiclious, and I'm not debating it with you.

Calderon is also a little to high, but nothing else is much of a problem.

All true...my conclusion is that p4p lists cannot be defended rigurously so it's pretty pointless worrying too much about them or trying to make them in the first place. As sean says...they're just for fun. Sure, we all know that Pacquaio is better than Diaz but how much better exactly, given all the others at the different weights is not that important, really.

Yes he is, that is why he is number ten. He has been much higher in the past.

When boxers speak about P4P rankings, about being P4P no1 - they refer only to the Rings official list.

Paul Williams should be #10 not Hatton, Especially If PW beats Verno in a one sided UD and if He KO's Verno he should be #8 or 7

Neither are many in that list then if they stay in their weight comfort zones ? hatton is still 45-0 at 140 that has to be respected.

Beating paulie certainly worth more than what most have done lately.

Williams should be in there agreed you cant have marga above williams until marga proves otherwise simple as that.
