Now that we have a clearer view of what Hatton is about. Could he take out a prime Tszyu like he did an older Tszyu?

I think even the old KT would have won that fight if Ricky wasn't allowed to maul so much, and I'm a Hatton fan. You're just talking about two different levels of fighter trying to compare prime KT with prime Hatton, KT was a ****ing monster and gets severely underrated because of ONE loss, to Vince Phillips.

The Tszyu Hatton fought finished off Mitchel (months before the Hatton fight) in a quicker time then then the younger version of Tszyu did many years earlier; and speedier then Paul Williams, or Floyd Mayweater could manage later on.

Hatton is always a hard fight for Tszyu I feel...he has a style that Tszyu doesnt like and has a hard time figuring out.

But I can see Kostya's extra quickness in his prime allowing him to move into better positions to catch Hatton more often.

Kostya probably stops him but Ill pick a decision win after he hurst Ricky a few times throughout the fight.

Mitchell really wasn't all that much. Don't know why you keep bringing it up like it proves something. KT would beat him hopping around on one leg. So would Hatton. Also, if memory serves, Mitchell had an injury by that time that never really healed right and he wasn't quite as elusive as he used to be. Can't be bothered to look it up, I could be wrong.

Maybe, but I disagree. I think that anyone who moves in on a young KT gets KTFO, and in a hurry. Suicide.

SHow me the fights that showed that KT was in a big state of decline? OH you can't...

I can show you the ones where he won and won well leading up until he ran into Hatton.

I didn't say he was in a big state of decline, but he wasn't anywhere near his best. I know he won fights before that. I already told you I think he would have won that fight too in the states, with a different referee. That doesn't mean he was at his prime, in his prime the location and the ref wouldn't have mattered at all.

Is this really so hard for you to understand?

Not hating on Hatton, I like him. I happen to think that prime KT is twice the fighter though.

Hatton has the style to nullify Kostas big shots, by fighting in close, and in and out of the clinch. Hatton made a fairly inactive, but no real evidence of decline (was still destroying opponents) Tszyu quit on his stool. A peak Hatton wins this one, imo.

Finishing someone off quicker doesn't equate to being better. It simply means the condition was right to allow a quick finish.

evidence of decline is not easily seen by the untrained mind.
