Although a Nevada Federal Judge granted an attachment in favor of Gary Shaw Productions and Diego Corraless Estate of up to $1,200,000 of any monies to be paid to Jose Luis Castillo, also required was that a bond of equal monies be collected from Gary Shaw Productions and Diego Corraless Estate. Isn't that the truth? All that emotion and anger, not to mention all the time posting comments on this board. I'm glad it worked out that way, though. Even given the circumstances, I would have hated to see JLC fight for no purse, or a deferred purse.
I'm glad to hear this. The punishment just didn't fight the crime IMO. These guys are in boxing to make $$$ for themselves and their families, and to take that away from them is insane. And of course cooler heads prevailed and the right thing was done.
