If he had no market appeal then why would Arum consider him for Pavlik when HBO declined Arum's offers for Pavlik to fight guys like Mayorga and whoever else he had in plan for Pavlik before Hopkins stepped up for it?, care to explain?

Also, Williams did what Margarito never thought about doing in FIVE different losses, he avenged his loss and did so in STYLE. Margarito might want to take notes as he ducks Williams.

 

I just find it curious that Margie is not interested in a rematch with someone he doesn't even give credit for the win. He says that he lost

Bob Arum always lies. He claims Goosen jerked his chain with the Pavlik fight, but then Pavlik comes out and says that he turned down the fight with Williams because he didn't think he would get credit for beating a WW. Arum does not want to risk any of his cash cows at WW by putting them in there with Williams. The fact that he threatened to sue Margo and his manager to prevent the first fight is all you need to know. The bull**** about personal issues is just that, bull****. Arum had all types of personal issues with Floyd yet he claims he was interested in putting Cotto and Margo in the ring with him.

Williams has moved on , and that's smart on his behalf. Arum will never let Cotto or Clottey get in the ring with Williams, and he won't let Margo do it again. Mosley and Berto both want no parts with Williams as well. Hopefully, he'll have better luck at 154.
