Taylor will fight who ever is the bigger name and who ever bring the more money.

And in that regard Bute > Froch.

Maxime where did you read that?

And for the Andrade-Tsypko fight, Andrade by KO max 6th round. Stieglitz was a harder fight for him...

    Hehe nice picture...

but seriously. Tsypko is pretty good and could possibly box Andrade to an UD. However, as we know Andrade is so ridiculously relentless it will always be difficult.

One judge gave Lacy the last round against Tsypko despite being outlanded 51-18. Tsypko ate right hands like nobody's business for the first 2 rounds and then made adjustments and outfought Lacy down the stretch. The least he deserved was a draw. Lacy fought with a bad shoulder injury so he deserves credit for even making it to the 10th round.

Anyway, Andrade has already been in there with well-schooled European fighters and should, for all intents and purposes, win this fight. He's beaten Stieglitz, went 12 with Kessler, and well, there was that little fight with Bute that ended somewhat sour.

Tsypko is no european, cruiser. He is Ukranian.Thats quite a difference, isnt it!

There is a huge gap between europe and the core countries of the former soviet union- not only economically or mentally, but in terms of style and talent pool as well.

Exactly. It will be Tsypko's biggest fight so far in his career and I certainly see him as the better boxer but I'm not sure if he has the stamina to last 12 rounds with Andrade. I think Tsypko's chin is pretty good and is power is good but that won't be enough to keep Andrade away. And I'm not so sure about Tsypko having been away for so long. I'm afraid he will be a little rusty.

The decisive factor will be whether the Mexican can impose his will and his style on Typsko. If the Mexican cant break Tsypko's good defence he will be doomed as no fighter can win a card game with the Ukranian playing with his cards.
Tsypko has a great jab and is one of the counterboxers in the business.
Although he cant hold a candle to his Mexican foe in terms of firepower Tsypko does have some pop in his fists.
As you rightly pointed out he also has a decent chin.
Tsypko vs Andrade will be a very interesting fight to watch, but I doubt that it will be much fun for a casual fight fan or sport fan.
Tsypko is a boring fighter, and he ususually imposes his style on his opponent.

It's not about how good his defence is, Odo...it's about whether he has the firepower to keep Andrade at bay, because otherwise he will keep coming and fireing...and inevitably land too, even if at a low connect ratio.

Nice to read about Tsypko, I don't know him very much. It will be difficult for him to impose his style. Nobody has ever been able to do it so far. Even Kessler, who dominated him completely, had not been able to stop him from always coming forward. is Tsypko good in blocking shots with his gloves? Jab and blocking are key factors with Andrade. Bute, for example, does not block shots. He dodges, moves away. But that's difficult against Andrade, who's always coming in your face. Bute had then to clinch, and he's not very good at that. And beside, I rewatched the Bute-Andrade fight, and I don't agree anymore that the ref should have warned Bute for clinching. Andrade was running at him, not to hit him, but to push him. He was always on him, chest to chest. That's not boxing, that's wrestling. Andrade really uses this strategy to tire his opponent. I think jabbing, blocking and counter could be a good recipe against him. Oh, and Tsypko has to be in the shape of his life.

Stieglitz had a leaky defence and and a weak chin. Andrade looked quite convincing against him.
Tsypko is a totally different fighter. He has more pop in his fists than Stieglitz,a better defence than Stieglitz as well as a better chin.
Andrade wont tear him to pieces.I dont want to blow Tsypko's trumpet too loudly, but Andrade should brace himself for a long war of attrition. I very much doubt that the Mexican will manage to take Tsypko out of action one way or another.
Tsypko is a coldblooded customer who is cut out for a raging bull like Andrade.
Andrade is the favourite.Thats for sure!"

Tsypko's stamina is usually quite good and beyond any doubt. Can he hold Andrade at bay for 12 long rounds??
To be honest I dont know-predicting anything seriously is blowing smoke.I think so,but .......... .
Tsypko has been out of the ring for quite a long time.We will see which way the cat jumps after the first 2-3 rounds.
Tsypko is the underdog.Thats for sure!

As for his defence Tsypko usually holds his foes with his very telling jab and his excellent eye at bay.He is an excellent counterboxer.
