Floyd. Size only gets you so far when you're a one-dimensional fighter, fighting a defensive genius. EDIT: Of course, eventually size will become too much, but I don't think it's too much here.
are you serious? this could be the dumbest match up on an ESB board since last monday atschatschatschatsch
I would pick pavlik to win definetly, i wouldn't however rule out floyd winning, he would have to move, pot shot and fight very definsevly and make sure he capatilised on how slow and one dimesional pavlik is, also his chin which i think is underrated and is top notch would have to stand up to pavlik power cause he aint going 12 rounds without getting tagged. I tend to think floyd makes it to the end and wins rounds but pavlik reach advantage and workrate win him a clear UD. However if floyd wants to be remebered as a top 5 ATG this is his only route to that. Wins over margarito, cotto, williams and pacquaio may help his legacy and certainly would make around 15 for me but to go into the level with the real greats he needs something super special and this is his only route to that.
What people have to remember is that yes Hopkins use of angles and feints was the key in him beating Pavlik but he was able to get Pavlik respect also by his power when he had Pavlik legs all wobbly in the 2nd round. Floyd would get no respect from Pavlik, zero respect.
so what...he has WAY more speed and if he is ripping fsat combos pavlik will have to defend himself...Pavlik will not be able to hit floyd...It was his use of angles and feints...floyd can do that too..better than BHOP
a dumb post would be 150 to 5....not 48-46 for PBF...U have to rate matchups by what people vote...this fight would be a pickem in vegas
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL look at the poll results. should've been a public poll
