I don't think he would win, but it would be entertaining as hell.

Don't know. Have to see how Cotto responds after the beating he took from Margarito. But I think it's a pick'em fight.

Cotto - on a good day
I am not a big fan of PBF but the way his dismantled Hatton I dont see many many fighters doing the job at the moment.
De La Hoya would have creamed him during his prime years ....
I have watched their fight numerous times and I still have De La Hoya winning with the smallest margin

Curently? None. Paul Willams has the best shot. De La Hoya had a chance to beat him if he had made there fight "The night of jab".
I don't think Cotto or Marigirto would do welll aganst him.

Cotto, because he's a monster and more durable @47...also he knows how to cut the ring off, a descent counter puncher with underrated speed and very very good power.

Margarito because PBF's power wouldn't slow him down and he's relentless, volume punching assassin.

I remember the Baldomir-Mayweather fight and Floyd couldn't put a dent on Carlos so elected to run and hit. Antonio Margarito isn't interested about looking flashy or unwilling to get hit, he's just out to PUNISH. The Punisher, Paul Williams defense is too leaky for the boxing wizard in PBF. FMJ is very very very very good. He just needs the right dance partner to reveal his greatness and get really tested. I think Cotto is the answer. MArgarito is just too dang big and strong with a granite chin.

Im not sure I would bet on anyone to actually beat Mayweather but a fit as can be Delahoya with more than one fight in a whole year under his belt has the best chance... he`s the only guy that can come close in skills to make his size count IMO but time is ticking & the more he leaves it the bigger a favourite Floyd becomes due to the age difference.

Guys who I would favor over PBF:
    PTP
    Sergio Martinez

Guys who I wouldn't favor but would match up well:
    Cotto
    Berto
    Clottey
    Mosley

Styles make fights my friend. Martinez has the movement, hand speed and natural power that would present serious problems to Floyd. I'm a believer that Floyd would dance circles around Margarito.

And I can't stand Floyd mind you.

I've said this from day one Spinks would give PBF hell. He's a southpaw with good speed, good jab and good defense he can also counter. He gives PBF his hardest fight to date because of styles. Spinks is the only man I could see pulling it off maybe Williams but he gets counterd far too easy.
