Its a good fight, but its not that good. The fight that is ten times better than Vasquez-Gonzalez hasn't taken place yet, and never will (it isn't possible).
Calzaghe-Kessler, but I don;'t know if you can call it underrated. Most experts see it as a classic already I guess.
agreed :happy:happy, all good choices hussein hussein vs jorge arce 1, pemberton vs sheika, campbell vs peden 1, freitas vs coralles, woods vs sam miller
Vera vs Lee is terribly underrated. http://www.boxingvideosonline.com/2008/03/andy-lee-vs-brian-vera-boxing-video.html
Rafael Marquez-Tim Austin is another that never gets talked about. A very good fight the whole way through; Austin looks like he is beginning to pull away near the end; back and forth last round with Marquez wobbled badly at the start, but he comes back to punch Austin across the ring and through the ropes; Austin gets back up but Marquez finishes him off. Brilliant little fight.
I find that fights that are on undercards often get overshadowed by the main event. Arce vs Hussein was the kind of fight that if it had been a main even people would have it ranked right up there with Castillo vs Corrales and Gatti vs Ward. Also Morales vs Chi. As a main event I think that Judah vs Mayweather is very under rated. It is one of my favorite fights.
Tito Trinidad vs Ricardo Mayorga De La Hoya vs Ricardo Mayorga Bernard Hopkins vs Antwon Echols 2 - possibly the roughest, toughest, & dirtiest fight of all time. Paul Williams vs Antonio Margarito Kelly Pavlik vs Edison Miranda Kelly Pavlik vs Jermaine Taylor 1 - definitely the most underrated of the past year.
