Forrest/Santos. Clean up that division and defend it.

He should fight at 154 D.Santos or Dzinziruk.:deal
Or go down to 147 and wait later on for the winner of Margo vs Cotto#2.:deal
Or go to 160 and get KTFO by Pavilk or A.A:deal

I think only Americans view Forrest as the best at 154. Not all Americans, just that i don't think any non-americans view Forrest as the best at 154

IMO Forrest has been on a fast decline since his surgery, over 3 years ago.

Remember his fight against 37 year old Quartey? And his fight against Mora?

:good co-sign, only woman who can compete with Vergara

but uhh......on another note, i'd like to see Kirkland Vs. Williams i think that would be a great fight, Kirklands young, hungry, seems to have a solid chin, he's a good in fighter, it would be a great fight

but i dont see it happening anytime soon though

I'd much rather Kirkland-Angulo and Williams-Forrest on the same card with the winners facing off.

Anyone know? I dont really care about the belts, just seems odd seeing as how verno was the ibf champ and we have a reigning WBo champ

Verno had to give up the IBF belt because they wouldn't sanction a bout against a fighter that was unranked by their org (a result of being a WBO champ). This was for the interim WBO belt since Dzinziruk is already the WBO champ. Williams had to give up his 147 WBO belt to get this 154 interim WBO title fight.

If I were Goosen, I wouldn't worry so much about Forrest. He's old, seen as damaged good ever since the shoulder probs, never been a big draw, and win against him would be dismissed like this one will probably be, as against old and shot fighters. They should also stay away from Dzinziruk at this point, although he's most likely his next opponent. If they are smart, they will drop the WBO.

What they should do is go for a fight against Sergio Mora just to get some exposure. Aside from the elephant in the division, 154 is rather barren of big names or money fights, so I think they should finish their business in 147 before going up to 160. Clottey seems like the most realistic opponent at this time. If he's able to get by him, then that would be the time to push for a Margarito rematch.

At 160, AA would be the better match-up for the busy Williams. If his chin can hold up against that kind of power, at that weight, (and that's a big if) I'd give him a good shot to outpoint Abraham.

That's because you're a real boxing fan as opposed to these other nuthugging Margarito-bitches who wanna criticze Paul because he simply wants to fight the champs in his division.

He is too good for any other 154 pounder in the world. He might aswell take on Forrest next and get an easy win over a big name.
