To me its a freak show. Pac is 5'6 and started his career at 106. He can fight at 135 but 147 thats way too much. Why not put him with Paul Williams or Antonio Margarito at 147. This fight will end in a KO. Pac has no chance.
ODLH, Williams, Margo.... hmmmn...hard to decide which fighter Pac should fight... oh i know! why not pick the one who'd bring in the money!- Oscar! atleast his weaknesses will compensate with Pac's strong points, which will somehow make this fight competitive. :good Still i agree that this is a money fight. But not an easy one for Pac:-(
Don't make stupid assertions like "Pac is a money *****" and "Pac got busted up by Morales and Marquez". Especially when Pac knocked one of those guys down 4 times, and knocked the other out in the 3rd. Yeah, so what, Pac's face got bruised and cut, thats boxing, doesn't prove your point or **** all else. Welcome to the forum.
First of hen Pac and Morales fought in the 1st and Morales was still peak he got bloodied up and Marquez also gave him a decent spanking after he got the trick on the left hand. Second Pacquiao is a money ***** and im pretty sure even he knows that because if he wanted to go up in class and take the best in 147 it would be Margarito. Lastly I'm a 4 year reader 2 years poster so im not a newbie and everyone with half a brain knows whats going to happen to Pac when he steps against Oscar. So how about you shut up for a while.
Haha LOL...if that's the case than Marquez should be in a coma and Morales would have been 6 feets deep :rofl .
Pac already won when he signed to fight Oscar. For a mini guy like Pacquiao to get a fight with Oscar is already a win win situation. The only thing Pac has to do now is drop dead the first punch Oscar land on him .
pac got bloodied up because of a headbutt in the first morales fight. marquez got back after an awful start but he did not get all the remaining rounds like some here before in ESB likes to imply (rounds 2-12) lol. yes pacquiao is a money ***** but don't you think other fighters also fight for money? give me another pro-fighter who does it for free? your are 4 year reader and a 2 year poster and yet it seems that you are banned several times already for starting **** threads like this. check your facts first dude.
Agreed. The fight is definitely not just about the money and it is possible for Pacquiao to win this fight.. Roach is a great trainer, and if he believes that Pac can truely beat DLH, then whats wrong with that? It is a lot of money, but Roach wouldn't throw his fighter in the ring against someone he can't beat thats also two divisions above you.. Pacquiao has improved a lot since Morales and I don't care what anyone says, Pacquiao will never fight anyone as tough as Marquez, because it will always be a war between them too.. DLH may have a lot of advantages such as height and power, but Pacquiao has the advantage when it comes to speed, agility, movement, and heart.. If Pacquiao goes in there with the perfect gameplan, avoids the jab with lateral movements, and can stay away from being hit by big shots such as the left hook, then his chances are high.. Getting inside and throwing combinations to the body before moving to the side to avoid getting hit will be essential..
I have not been banned and I've got my facts straight. I know boxers dont fight for free but there come a point where some fights shouldnt be encouraged. Pacs best weight is 126 and Oscar was 147-154 thats like putting Hatton to fight against Abraham. I would love to see right now Oscar fighting Margo and Manny fighting Baby bull but I'm not seeing them because the boxers are money whores. Seriously boxing is the only sport where the best dont compete with the best.
i don't necessarily agree with this fight also but for this fight, pac would earn the biggest paycheck in his career. why **** on pac when he is risking his current stature (p4p king and impressive win streak) fighting a huge risk opponent when hoya is earning twice as much as pac for this fight while him picking on a much smaller fighter? and please don't accuse pacman of not fighting the best cause he always did that for the past couple of years and he rightfully deserves to earn a big money fight.
