Sakio Bika v. Calzaghe (three weeks' notice) not sure the original choice could have given Calzaghe half the scare Bika did.

Was Calzaghe not slated to Face Steve Collins and Eukbank stepped in on short notice?

Steve Robinson, good one! and wasn't Sosnowski a late replacement for John McDermott against Danny Williams recently?

Collazo was kind of a stand in for Baldomir against Hatton. Well Baldo agree'd then backed out according to Hatton in his book, the step up to welterweight wasn't planned for then and it nearly ended in his first loss.

Didn't realise Hatton and Baldomir were ever going to fight. Interesting.

Lewis and Klitschko both subbing for their respective fighters was fantastic. Instead of either guy having a gameplan, they just ended up going for it in the last great HW title fight IMO between two great fighters who were each others closest rival. Of course Lennox was out of shape, it just made him dig deeper, THAT uppercut was thrown by a desperate man and it turned the tide.

    Yep.

Collins retired rather than face Calzaghe.

    He cited health reasons.

    Eubank was the fill-in.
