The Mayweather 24/7's were excellent. :thumbsup Whether you like Floyd or you can't stand him, it's hard to deny that he's a great salesman and was the one that made you tune in. I can't say the same though for the actual fights. The first one couldn't live up to the hype the show created. Oscar couldn't pull the trigger and Floyd didn't really "ice that motha ****a..." like he said he was gonna do. The second fight was ruined (at least for me) by the "fair but firm" butt head. Every time I hear his "wahalawalawala" when he was separating the fighters... I swear... atsch I hope this one on Saturday turns out to be a barnburner than the circus a lot of people are relegating it to. At least we can all count on Manny to fight his heart out no matter what happens.
This is the worst 24/7 IMO. It seems they don't have any real content to fill up time so they are using a lot of fillers it seems.
What the heck are you guys talking about? You guys must be fools if you think this 24/7 is not good. Im really enjoying the show, its a nice build up to the fight. The 3rd episode was especially cool and very touching. I felt very emotional when I watched pac give away 500 turkeys. In fact, these 24/7 shows should be DVRed and watched all over again and again!
It all depends on who is in 24/7. DLH is not interesting anymore. I hope they do 24/7 for people like Margarito, Klitschko, Haye or someone like that. New people.
James Toney and David Haye should have a 24/7 those two would be so good to watch especially the weigh in
What did HBO and Golden Boy expect? Delahoya is repetitive as ****, Roach has handicapped speach and nothing good to say anyway and Manny speaks broken english! What the **** were they expecting I ask again? I do find it rather interesting that international superstar Manny Pac is living in an apt with about 20 other filipinos, one of them has to sleep in the ****ing closet for crying out loud :rofl :rofl :rofl Shell out some dough for a ****ing 2-Story house for a few months! atsch
Lol the peak moment was Manny's dog almost getting flattened by a car and Freddie Roach getting a haircut by some dude on cocaine. Pretty awful... the last episode of Calzaghe/Jones the best one this year so far.
It might not be as good as the past ones, but I definitely look forward to it every Sunday, stop complaining guys... 24/7 is a great gift from HBO to all boxing fans.
