    :-( :-(
Please - i think it is time to re watch the fight. 2 different boxing styles and Bute had to perform at 105 % for 12 rounds and it nearly cost him the fight.
    No reason for being disrespectful

After the last tough fight, i don't see Bute fighting Taylor or Kessler next.
Larsen at his best could be a very very competable and watchable fight. 2 south paws with jabs and strait lefts. Larsen at his best actually probably the stronger and faster hands.
Young talent against maybe one of the best talents in the division 5 years ago.
Larsen's boxing skill will compete, only problem is his fragile mind??.

    you're being way too nationalistic.

bute's not going to lose against larsen.

kessler would be a good fight because it will 'make' one of them to a higher level than they are now.

kessler's been fighting chumps and larsen has been playing it even safer.

    you're australian right?

    i am too.

but mundine is a 'vargas type fighter'.

he's never been top tier but hes a good fighter you have to beat to fight better fighters.

When you take away all the unwarranted controversy that became of that fight, and after we've all had a close look at it, it's fair to say that the controversy wasn't warranted, you have one fighter who was comprehensively dominating another for 90% of the fight, but lost the last round and was KD. Had there had been 15 rounds, yeah he would have lost, had there have been a 5 minute final round he also would have lost.
But there isn't and he didn't, and imo, if you ignore the controversy the fight wasn't close enough to warrant a rematch.

I think it's better, like laffie said, that they get rid of the Sauderland clause right now so there hands are free later on.

Question for you guys: Don't Bute get two optionnal defenses before he has a mandatory one ?

bute is a poor man's joe calzaghe with a serious lack of conditioning. He should've lost the andrade fight, but he really needs to rematch him before he starts taking on anymore serious opponents to prove that the andrade incident was just a fluke

I remember you. You were the one making an outcry over everyone who didn't think the Kessler/Calzaghe fight wasn't a clear victory to Calzaghe, and you also had a go at anyone who questioned Palle's managerial skills.

Of course you wouldn't be hyping up the closeness of the matchup etc because Andrade is a guy Kessler has already beaten, and any credible performance by him is good for Kessler. No, didn't think so.

The "outcry" was that i saw the fight 115-113 for Calzaghe.

I saw the Bute - Andrade fight like Bute won 10 rounds 10-9 and Andrade 2 rounds 10-9 and 10-8. I don't think Andrade was kd, so my score is 117-110 for Bute.
I justed stated, that every single round was hard fought and in the end it nearly cost Bute the fight. Not in anyway to compare with how the Calzaghe - Jones fight went on.

Before the fight i stated more than ones that i as a fan hoped for Andrade, but as a boxing fan hoped for Bute to win to secure a Bute - Kessler fight.

I don't remember you, but otherwise i.l guess you was spot on.
