    good call for me.

no-one will remember douglas ahead of tyson and thats the same for phillips.

but its easy for people to bring that up as a last defence.

yes I do...definitely but his decisions were smart for him...hatton and ODH were good fights for him...they are both great champions...if he fought AM and beat him easy before ODH everyone would have said AM was a bum...I wish PBF would fight AM like evryone else but it is his choice...I don't feel he is scared I just feel he is tired of boxing right now

i agree he's tired of boxing too.

and the oscar fight is a better win than people give him credit for. but that doesnt change the fact that floyd cherrypicked to a point after gatti.

a lot of people dismiss what floyd did in the lower weights because pre-gatti it didnt make any waves, but floyd deserved his hype before then.

i've always been a fan of floyd - he's a brilliant fighter - but he played the numbers after gatti and thats why he deserves criticism considering what he had to say.

Without arguing who is the better fighter (Mayweather will be remembered as the better one without a doubt)...It's a style matchup for me that works in Tszyu's favour.

Tszyu liked to fight guys who picked their shots or fought off the ropes. Mayweather does this...and Tszyu was one of the most accurate and best finishers in the game. Never had trouble with speed or counterpunchers.

Most fights where Tszyu had trouble were of his own doing. His arrogance to fight on the inside in the Hatton fight, his disregard of his trainer's advice in the Phillips fight to box, his rush to finish Hurtado put him in trouble, but I've rarely seen a guy go down twice and just continue to run forward without fear on a seek and destroy mission. But I think we'd see a smart Tszyu against Mayweather. Too much respect for Mayweather to try and blast him out.

I know when people haven't watched much of Tszyu when they say all he had was a big right. His hook of the jab was one of the best you'll see, and his bodypunching (which he didn't do nearly enough) hurt opponents in every fight I saw him go there. His trainer said he wished Tszyu went to the body more across his career.

Giving him time, space and letting him load up were death to opponents.

I don't think Mayweather faced anyone who hit as hard or accurately as Tszyu. Common opponent Mitchell said Tszyu hit twice as hard as Mayweather. Gonzales said Tszyu hit harder than Oscar De La Hoya, who he'd just fought the fight before.

People are also under-rating Tszyu's chin. The man took bombs in lots of fights...and aside from the Phillips fight (where both guys completely threw out defence from round 1) ... he rarely blinked.

Floyd isn't going to Ko him...if he wins, it's on points. But I think a prime Tszyu was the guy to beat him.

And Tszyu was ahead on the scorecards in the Phillips fight when he walked into a huge hail mary counter right. His trainer had said for two rounds to stop trying to blow the guy out because he'd been eating the counter rights all night...but Tszyu didn't listen. He could have easily taken a decision in that fight.

Let me just say, that while I think Floyd is one of the greatest fighters i've ever seen...

I still think he loses to Zoo. Floyd was PERFECT for Zoo.

    i couldnt disagree more.

judah was a blueprint for how to take tszyu down in round one but he's an immature fighter with all the talent in the world who never knew how to believe in himself or explot his talent.

tszyu is a destructive fighter if you let him dictate the fight and let him range-find.

floyd systematically breaks down tszyu for me easily because he'll always be 2 steps ahead of him.

Floyd takes this fight. Floyd already knew how to beat Tsyu and he tried to feed Judah game and Judah got too cocky and went balls out as always. Floyd by UD in a good fight. Tsyu's attack would be nullified by Floyd's defense. When is the last time you seen Floyd caught flush with a straight right hand. I'll wait.

Yes Floyd would run away all night, but he got caught by Demarcus Corley and stunned so a right from Tzsyu would level him imo and he wouldn`t get up.

are you saying that mayorga beat forrest twice who beat mosely twice who beat oscar twice who KO'd mayorga... and thats how boxing works?

or are you saying you dont understand styles versus fights?

dont talk bull**** if you dont know what you're talking about.

i shouldn't have to repeat this.

Kosyta does not have enough skills to beat a guy like Floyd. He can't outbox him, he can't hurt him. Floyd would fight Kostya on the inside and out and stop him in 10 or less just as PHillips did. Kostya's big right would not land on Floyd at all. Floyd has the perfect style to chip Kostya up lol...
