Anderson, has the perfect combination of styles for his body type. Very skilled as well..

Wanderlei, if you see his endurance, recovery and horsepower you would expect him to have some combination of thai clinch and GNP. His built lends itself to a style more like Dan Henderson's.

If I could pick a combination of skills that would make Wanderlei a beast, it would be to give him every strength from the clinch that exists, as he has a strong back/pulling power for thai plum for small fighters and those his size, he has good balance so Judo throws and takedowns are ideal. Then Wrestling from the ground, as he seems to have crazy endurance, strength and aggression to just maul guys on the ground if he wanted.

I would see someone like him use the knees, judo throws, and gnp.

He definitely needs to start approaching fights like this, it would prolong his career for one. Shogun has fought this way for a while and it seems to work very well for him, even though he isn't all that great at takedowns.

It would fight Wanderlei's style well because his striking usually leads him into the clinch anyway, and he has at least a solid BJJ background, so when he comes across more technical strikers he could use that existing ability to build off of. That is why his training at Coutures is a good idea, because he can really learn effective takedowns from the clinch and against the cage.

Wanderlei always struck me as having the right attributes but the wrong style.

wanderlei was a beast in his prime. But Andersons striking is unmatched. So I'd go with Anderson by 2nd round stoppage

Anderson by ref stoppage in the 2nd, Anderson has a chin and a half on him, the only guy I ever saw test it was Lee in Cage Rage, but my man is banged up now.

In their prime i would have to pick wanderlei silva. This guy was a beast during his prime. He fought and just about beat everybody in his prime.

    Rampage 2x-dan henderson-sakuraba- yoshida-ricardo arona-fujita etc

I don't know. A prime Wanderlei was a bad dude. But a prime Anderson is just as bad. It's so close. I don't understand why so many people are so quick to say Anderson. Sure, Wanderlei isn't the most technical fighter. But he was almost unbeatable during his prime. I'm going to go with Wand.
