Valuev & Chagaev kinda share versions of the WBA bro, I wish one of those 2 had the ballz to fight either Klitschko & then your statement would be correct. :D

Chagaev is still the WBA "Champion in recess" due to some injury. Valuev fought Ruiz again & beat him for the WBA interim HW title. Whoever has the interim has to fight Chagaev when he returns.

That's a bit ridiculous, so now we technically have 5 HW champions? Bullocks!

Nope, can't see it happening at this stage -- perhaps he could have started that journey years ago.

Unless he's fighting a Chris Byrd / John Ruiz power HW he would be in severe trouble. Obviously a couple of full power Klitschko punches would knock him into next year. This isn't putting down Hopkins, he just doesn't have the build to pack on 30 to 40lbs (frankly, almost nobody does). And, 30lbs still make him barely 200lbs!
40 something 6'1", 200lb HW with 75" reach? Oh yes, he should really clean house!

Boxing has become too much of a freak show, people are expected to make ridiculous transitions. Maybe Bernard and Klitschko could fight in the CW division -- Bernard 190, Wlad 199!!

Wlad slimming down 40lb ... i think he would have to amputate something.

I think Hopkins could have beaten a Maskaev or a Ruiz.... he is kinda screwed with the current champs though.

I think he is too good against textbook fighters and wouldn't have much probblem dealing with an heavyweight with average power. He would however have problems against heavyweights with a good chin since he wouldn't have the power to back them up and of course, heavyweights that are simply too big like wlad or valuev.
