Is there anyone here who wants Khan to lose but Froch to win?

If so, why, except for the obvious reason of being a ****?

I wanted Khan to be brought down to earth and he's been brought down to earth big time. No more talking about beating Pacquiao etc....He has been brought down to earth...unfortunately not by Willie Limond...but he has eventually...and I like the new Khan - hungrier than ever, ambitious as ever, but humbled and with his feet on the ground. This is the right attitude you need to succeed. So I hope he wins and becomes as good as he hoped to be, as far as possible. I hope he wins a title soon anyway!

Froch...he's making a name for himself by talking down Calzaghe and Taylor and everyone else in the division....Bute, Kessler, Inkin...he said he'd beat them all, most in devastating fashion. True, he's not driven pedestrians over on crossings, but he's not 21 and famous either; he's 31 and should know better! I want Froch to be brought down to earth. I want him to start fighting proper contenders and prove himself, before thinking he's one of the best fighters in the world just because he's beaten a shot Robin Reid. If he changes his attitude, I will support him, after a loss. But right now, I want him humbled. Any fighter who goes into a title fight without having fought anyone in the top 20, who overlooks and talks down his unbeaten opponent like he does deserves to be humbled.

I understand why some might want both Khan and Froch to lose, but I think they're unfair to Khan and I don't understand how that's going to help British boxing, so...

I understand why some might want both Khan and Froch to win, because that's a success for British boxing.

But...I don't understand why some people might still want Khan to lose but Froch, an even bigger gobby twat than Khan's ever been, to win. I think such people are hypocrites of the lowest ****ish kind to be honest.:deal

Not minding if Khan wins or loses is fair enough, because as you say, he's never going to be a p4p star. Fair enough. :good

I was addressing the people who really wanted Khan to lose and really wanted Froch to win, because I expect there are some.;)

Good luck to those who want ***an to win because they like him and Froch to win...nothing wrong with that. But that's not the same as wanting Khan to lose and Froch to win...

Great post. I myself wanted khan brought back down to earth with all his im gonna be world champion within 2 years crap and total disrespect to opponents. He now seems a lot more humble and willing to work at it more. I'll reserve judgement until i hear what hes got to say after he beats ***in. Froch really gets on my nerves with his calling out of the bigger names without really beating anyone decent. That said i still want him to win against pascal and set up some big fights so we can see if he is that good.

I'm OK, thanks for asking. Hope you're OK too.

What bait? And why would no one who thought otherwise put me right?

and I dont care what happens to Khan

but whats wrong with wanting ***an to win if you are a ***an fan?

it might not be you want Khan to lose

the univrsere dont revolve around a boy from bolton

pherhaps people just like ***an and want him to be successful

I don't like either of them but I want Froch to win because of the interest it will generate in the 168 division now that Calzaghe is no longer there.

I hope he steps up to fight Kessler and gets destroyed though.

I think that would a good match-up; Froch could have some early success, but I think overall you're right: Kessler would end up murdering him.

i hope froch wins,at least when he is cocky,he's quiet funny as well,he is a good boxer with a good chin and can bang.
where as khan is a half decent boxer(please don't go on about the olympics, different ballgame)who can punch half decent, but a really **** chin, and when he says stuff, boy dus he beleive it!:patsch
in other words i couldent give a flying **** win lose or draw:good

There's nothing wrong with wanting ***an to win if you like him. There's nothing wrong with wanting a journeyman to beat a hyped prospect like Khan either...as long as the main reason you want him to win is not the fact that you want Khan to get beaten. (I made that distinction in the previous posts!!!)

Still...I wonder where all these many massive ***an fans were before he was matched against Khan....!!!

so...there's your answer: most people want ***an to win not because they care about ***an, but because they hate Khan.

If you want Khan to lose because you dislike him, that's ok. But then, why would you really want Froch to win?

Let's compare the people in these two match-ups: Khan/***an/Froch/Pascal:

    Biggest Twats: Khan and Froch
    Massive Favourites: Khan and Froch
    Hometown fighters: Khan and Froch
More overrated by the media/casual fans: Khan and Froch
More annoying hard-core fans: Khan and Froch
Underrates his opponent and talks as if he's already beaten him: Froch
More annoying/lying promoters: Khan and Froch
Have picked and chosen soft opposition as much as possible to make their resume look good: Khan and Froch
Have talked more **** about their betters in the division: Khan and Froch

    etc.

...pretty much any reason for wanting Khan to lose applies to Froch too and then some! In many ways, Froch's a much bigger twat than Khan...and he's a grown man too...not a boy.

So...now that Khan's learned humility, why would any reasonable, fair person really, passionately want Khan to lose and Froch to win?

    No reason, imo.

    ...the harder they fall...

...I'd rather Froch learned some humility now rather than later, when the consequences will be worse and more humiliating. Ideally, no one would want any fighter to get taken down a notch or two because all fighters would be reasonable, upstanding people everyone could respect. I don't want Froch to become a hated monster. I'd rather he changed his ways now rather than coming down to earth with a huge bang. Same went for Khan with me...ideally, he'd have changed his ways after Willie...but he didn't...he had to get KTFO for him to change his ways...

If Froch wins but learns some humility in this fight and changes his ways, I'll be happy enough. I don't want him to lose. I want him to change his ways first and foremost.

Difference is Khan is only 21 and has a lot of time to do some growing up.

Froch is a 31 grown up adult, he aint changing his ways now.
