He looked good against Monte Barrett but i'm not sure that he can be that effective against a HW weighing only 215 ...

    What do you guys think?

i think that even at 215 he would still kick Valuev's ass. or maybe thats just wishful thinking.

he would lose a good fight to Wlad, and get his ass whipped by Vitali.

Povetkin and Dimitrenko are fights i would love to see. Hard to pick a winner.

He'll probably go up a bit, but I still don't think he's ever going to be more than, say, in the mid-220s...230 at most. He won't bulk up for the hell of it and he's not a piggy eater like too many HWs.

I was under the impression that Haye would come to a fight weighing around 225-230 ...

I think he can beat Wlad but he's not going to fight Wlad, he's being set up to fight Vitali and will lose by KO.

Yeh he'd far more effective if he went McDonalds and came in at 250

95% of today's heavyweights are just fat *******s! They could fight cruiserweight but they are just too lazy to lose the weight. Haye, like Holyfield, is fit. I like that. Must heavyweights you only have do dance around them for 5 rounds and they will falll apart. You don't even need to hit them. Now, Klitschko's brothers are not part of the 95% .

Maybe in future fights his weight will increase slighty but he took weight off for the Barrett fight he was as high as 232 at one point he said.He is obviously comfortable at 215 which is the most important thing

I don't want to see Haye fight Vitali, because I think he would lose ... I think that Haye can beat Wladimir ...

The Return of the King! Haven't seen you on here for quite some time you old genius you.

Evander Holyfield weighed 217lbs the night he beat Riddick Bowe, Mike Tyson weighed 216lbs the nights he beat Razor Ruddock.

    Care to comment?

There's plenty of fighters in history who would rule today, weighing less or similar to 215lbs. George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes, Evander Holyfield, Sonny Liston and so on. Looking through the history books, 210-225lbs seems to be ideal for a heavyweight.

If he can't do it, it's not because he's too small.

Its all relative, if he is most comfortable/effective at that weight, why gain more? What does he gain by putting on more poundage? Less stamina, less speed?

Was about to say that. Mike Tyson was at his best @220lbs.
